Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) employees, top boss, civic chief Surat Municipal Commissioner S Aparna, IAS has buzzing headlines in TV Channels.

S. Aparna is IAS, Gujarat Cadre 1988 batch and currently posted at SMC as Commissioner. Surat is facing flood havoc and the Gujarat diamond city has a low lying area and naturally habitats are slum dwellers. Being low lying it is flooded every year.
